The Bulletproof List Post Template (For Outsourced Writing Teams)

how to write a high-value list post

If Plattr were a superhero, one of our (many, bahaha) superpowers would be our ability to outsource without a whiff of outsourcing from the outside world.

Here’s a look under the hood on how we do one of the more tougher things to do overseas: outsource SEO driven content for US eyeballs.

Watch Keren walk you through it in the video below.

The High-Value List Post Outline

The secret is in the template.

Not just any template, a question-based template.

We are not just writing a list of facts or things, we’re answering a series of questions.

Watch this video by Keren Kang, CEO, on how we train our Philippines team to write an excellent list post.

High-Value List Post Tips

  • Whenever possible, break information down into numbers or bullets to make it more digestible.
  • Keep the formatting simple, but as easy to understand and read as possible.
  • Define big words that fall outside a standard lexicon…
    • What is a lexicon? The vocabulary used within a branch of knowledge (see what we did there)
  • Link back to other related posts that you may offer on the topic to provide further reading and engagement.

Quick Summary

It’s important to provide key takeaways for instant value!

This is because people search Google for knowledge and fixes. If those needs are provided within your blog post, page, or website, in an obvious and easy to understand way.

At Plattr we create a lot of outlines and procedures. We know what works, and we know how to train our team to follow our guidelines. It wasn’t always this way, but over years of fine-tuning, we’ve found an effective system that makes an impact in the blogs of our clients.

This system not only brings in new traffic organically, but it also keeps them coming back!
